RE-ADVERTISEMENT - REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST-EXTERNAL AUDITOR - DEADLINE: JANUARY 30, 2023
Lawyers' Environmental Action Team, LEAT, a Non Governmental Organization based in Dar es Salaam Tanzania wishes to invite competent auditing firms to bid for the task of undertaking statutory audit services of its books of accounts and financial statements for the period of January 1 2022 to December 31 2022. Its financial statements are prepared in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002.
LEAT shall not be bound to accept any bid and will not be responsible for any loss or expenses incurred by a bidding firm in the process of its bid submission. LEAT reserves the right to accept all or part of an offer.
Applicants must submit the request for Expressions of Interest with documents showing:
1.Eligibility - A Company profile and proof of legal certificates.
2.Experience of your firm in relation to auditing accounts for NGO's in Tanzania or elsewhere;
3.Detailed audit plan; and
4.Audit fee Proposal.
The Expression of Interest bearing the following title "Statutory Audit Proposal" should be sent to LEAT in writing using the address/emails:
