CCROs Issued under USAID Resilient Communities Governance Project
Water, land, forests, and wildlife are public resources governed by the country's laws that called upon citizens to participate in their management. The project facilitated villages to develop 18 Inclusive LUPs in which 9 gazzeted, and issuance of 19,712 CCROs to community members that reduced resources related disputes, increased protection to natural resources and granted legal ownership of land parcels to men and women.
