VIDEO DOCUMENTARY CONSULTANT
Over
the years, LEAT has evolved into a community-centred organization committed to protecting
the environment and promoting sustainable natural resource management.
LEAT in collaboration with Rukwa Sustainable Development Organization (RUSUDEO), the sub-awardee is implementing Usimamizi Endelevu wa Maliasili Activity that is funded by the United States Agency for International Development. The Activity spans five years from 2020 to 2025. This Activity is implemented on a cluster of 18 villages located along the Lyamba lya Mfipa landscape in the Sumbawanga and Nkasi districts of the Rukwa region.
The goal of the Activity is to conserve biodiversity while enhancing the resilience of both the community and the ecosystem. The Activity takes a comprehensive approach, addressing an array of challenges posed to wildlife, forests, water bodies, and land resource.
LEAT aspires to inform the public on how Usimamizi Endelevu wa Malaisili Activity approaches have proved that community-based conservation is key in conserving biodiversity and building the resilience of the community and ecosystem on the effects of climate change.
Therefore, LEAT is looking for an expert and experienced videographer to document Activity results on the Usimamzi Endelevu wa Maliasili Activity.
Time Frame
The duration of the Assignment is expected to take 20 working days from the date of signing the contract.
Associated activities to be handled by LEAT
LEAT will coordinate the entire activity with support from the consultant including travel arrangement and appointments with interviewees.
